About the Movement
This movement began with one family’s experience in Houston County, Alabama.
What started as a personal fight for answers grew into a platform for families facing similar questions, challenges, and experiences with DHR and the courts.
Families vs. DHR exists to document those experiences, examine the systems involved, and give families information they can use.
Our work begins in Houston County, but our focus extends across Alabama.
